The Agaricus mushroom, also known as almond mushroom, mushroom of the sun and god's mushroom, originally was found in Brazil, however, is now grown in China, Japan, and parts of the United States.
Like most mushrooms, it has an earthy taste but what makes this one different is that it is somewhat sweet with a fragrance of almonds.
